Fall 2010 Trip
This past month our family drove to Rhinebeck, NY (NY Sheep & Wool Festival) and on the way we stopped at some of our church historic sites. I really had a wonderful time learning more about history and about what I believe in. We stopped in Kirtland, OH, and Palmyra, NY before the festival.
Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have concerning these historic sites!

Catching Up
We had an awesome time in Rhinebeck, NY at the Sheep and Wool Festival. I love going up there this time of year with all of the beautiful changing leaves.
This week I have been working hard on some dye projects for level five. I also finished my 50 hour project (which is a bamboo woven scarf).
I will post pictures of the trip and my latest projects later this weekend. I hope all is well with all of you!~

Marking for Level Three
I recieved my mark for level three which I was pleased with.
I am now taking this week off from this project, as I will be heading to a fiber festival. I can't wait to meet some of my sponsors.
Thanks so much everyone!

Yarn Blends Part 2
These yarns were spun for level four. I really enjoyed working with all these different types of fibers.

Finished 150 Hour Project
I just finished my 150 hour project for level four. I chose to knit a lap blanket for my mom using Shetland and Cotswold. It really turned out beautifully. The blanket used 2 ply bulky yarn (thin strand morrit shetland, thick strand cotswold). This blanket was made from our very first Cotswold lamb ("Courage").
And, yes this blanket has a story behind it! Pictures will be posted soon.

Spin Off Article
I had been reading past spin off magazine articles, when the thought came to write an article about educating the next generation (from a youth's view). So, I just submitted it and we will have to see how it goes. I included many personal experiences.
