Giving Back -Heifer Class-
This week has been more than crazy! Anyways, because I have had so many things to do each day, yesterday night was the only time I had to pack for my class at Heifer. The class turned out well, and many were interested. I hope that I can continue to share with others, as others have done for me.

Marking Results for Level 1
I just got the results back, and I found out that I got the mark of 80%! I am happy with that, and am glad for the helpful hints Rosemary gave me to get my mark up higher.
Keep checking back!

Level 2 Almost Finished!!!!
I am almost finished with level two. I was asked to do a 25 hr. project, so I chose to make a baby hat and mittens out of alpaca/mohair. The project has to be made out of raw materials, so I so far have washed and now am carding the fibers. Check back for pictures of the finished project! :)

More Surprises!
Today two packages came! One was from Michael Cook who sent different samples of silk. I really like the display he sent showing the different steps. It has been really fun learning more about areas that are required for the master spinners. Thanks Michael! The other was from Bill at the Copper Moose. He sent many of the exotic blends needed for this level, plus he surprised me by sending the DVD "Spindles from Around the World" and the Denise Interchangeable Knitting Needle Set. Thanks Bill!
I can't thank everyone enough for helping with this project. I could not have done it without you guys!
I will post pictures of these two surprises later this week.
